Essay on Responsibility

What is responsibility? What are you responsible for? What duties do you have? These questions are always current considering the amount of changes that are constantly taking place. What remains is the fact that the state wants to have control over you. Is it responsible for your misfortunes?

Imaginary Security

Have you ever though why the state cares so much about you? Consider the following: all drug addicts are treated as ill. They aren’t guilty of the situation they have happened to be in. You don’t need to plan your future since the state will pay a you pension. There is no need to plan your family because you will get children’s allowance in any case. When you lose your job, you aren’t on the street without money, because the state provides you with unemployment benefits. It seems like a gesture of goodwill from the state. However, the main reason is that the state wants to make people reliant on amenities it provides. Therefore, the state can rule and control you.

Think Outside the Box

Any conscious citizen wouldn’t be happy to be controlled or ruled. Besides, it is not very hard to be independent. At the same time, it doesn’t mean you need to become a rebel. All you need is to develop planning skills. Plan ahead your future in order to be independent. This way, you will be able to decide for yourself, and you won’t be afraid of any changes that might occur in the state.

Be Aware of the Responsibility

Everyone must be responsible for one’s actions. It is what makes you a human. It has already become a commonly accepted idea that if you don’t take responsibility for your actions, you can’t and won’t be trusted. Even though the state tries to remove an idea of responsibility, you must be aware of it. Don’t fall for modern tendencies and use your own brain for making decisions and planning your life. No one will argue that being freed from the responsibility makes life easier. At the same time, if you want to be independent of the state, you need to consider responsibly as one of the most fundamental aspects of your existence as a human being. Be in control of all the spheres of your life. Don’t let anyone decide for you.
